Counselling for Adolescents

Sometimes, expressing emotions through art, music, movement, or play can feel easier than finding the right words. Being a teenager comes with a lot of pressure—from school, friends, and expectations—all while trying to figure out who you are. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure about things.

Having someone to talk to can help you make sense of our emotions, handle challenges, and build confidence. You have the freedom to choose how you’d like to explore certain issues—whether through talking, using art, or a mix of both.

Creating in therapy isn’t about making something beautiful; it’s about expression and the experience itself. Colours, lines, and dots can reflect emotions in a way words sometimes cannot, and the simple act of working with clay can feel grounding and therapeutic, even without creating anything specific.

Through art, clay, music, nature, and roleplay, you can explore emotions, process experiences, and discover your strengths. Roleplay can help you practice difficult conversations, while mindfulness and breathing exercises can make it easier to cope with stress. Whatever approach feels right for you, this is a space where you can explore, express, and be yourself.
